Seller's Note

1953 Royal Enfield 250cc Clipper. V5C Present. Restored VGC Transferable Reg No

For auction here is a 1953 Royal Enfield 250cc Clipper. The bike has its V5C present and is on a transferable registration number. Its not presently taxed or tested, but is at that age tax and MOT exempt. The bike has been previously restored and has new wheels exhaust, tyres paint electrics and so on. It still looks in decent condition and runs and rides well. The bike starts and runs well with no smoke or undue noise from the engine. The clutch is however slipping, so will need adjusting or at the worst some new plates. That aside everything works as it should, it lights up, its charging etc. Its a tidy little bike which has had a lot of money spent on it, and then has simply not really been used. The chap I had it off more or less enjoyed restoring bikes, but then didn,t really use them, but he has made a decent job of this. The bike is pretty tidy, but not mint, its been done to be a nice useble bike for local runs etc. So, its registered and more or less ready to go. Viewing is welcome. 01246 411977 for an appointment. Collection is preferred although I can arrange for delivery by courier within the mainland UK for £100. Finally, if you bid, you buy, no tyre kicking excitement afterwards.
