BSA C15 STAR 250cc 1959
This BSA bike belonged to my father who purchased it from a man who owned a motorcycle garage and had several other BSA motorcycles and is believed to be the technical advisor to the local BSA club. Unfortunately my father passed away last year and it is now my task to sell this bike on for the family. The bike itself has been rebuilt in 1997 and has only done 35 miles since that time. It has been stored in a warm dry garage for the last 4 years and is in very good condition. A few minor problems which are, The chrome work has a few slight rust spots but can be gone with some elbow grease. It needs a new 6 volt battery as i do not have a 6 volt battery charger, this is the only reason i believe that it is not running, as all the fuel lines are good, the engine spins over on the kick and the clutch is free and working. There is also some signs of rust deterioration in the tank but this can be lined to sort out. The tyres are in good order and we even believe it has british rims on it. There maybe a few small jobs that need doing but nothing major, this is only due to it standing for 4 years. The bike has previously been registered/used overseas which explains why it has an age related number plate and this was done on the 23/06/1997. We have the certificate of authenticity from the BSA owners club tying in the engine and framework for the bike which was sold in 1959. This can be seen in one of the pictures.
