1960 BSA B31 Alternator model goldstar replica basis?
Hi and welcome to the sale of my 1960 BSA B31 "Alternator model" The bike is extremely reliable and although she is far from concourse, you know you can kick her up and set off and get there, too many out there with flash paint jobs but will struggle to get you to the end of the street. Although the bike isn't mint it certainly hasn't been neglected, the tank does suffer from two small dents though (see photos) but they are nothing serious and there isn't any chrome flaking off due to them being there. A beautiful sounding classic British thumper which is an absolute pleasure to ride. The Smiths chronometric works as it should and is extremely accurate. Clutch is nice and light and the gears all select extremely well. The brakes all work superbly. Very comfy bike to ride. If I remember from what the previous owner told me, the barrel has been bored out and fitted with a Triumph T120 piston taking it upto around 400cc. Recently had a new chain fitted along with new sprocket. Had an engine rebuild not so long ago and could really do with a few miles running her in. Good tyres A good honest reliable BSA. V5 logbook in my name. MOT'd till September 2015 For any further information please don't hesitate to contact Karl on 07412151165 Cash on collection, cleared cheque or bank transfer....NO PAYPAL unless you want to pay the paypal fees.
