BSA C15 250 cc STAR 1961
BSA C15 Star 1961.The original registration was replaced with an age related number in January 2010 and is of course free classic road tax. The bike was originally delivered from the Armoury factory on the 7th of April 1961 to (Ingles) one of their motorcycle dealers in Derby. The engine is a rebuilt 250cc Star unit .There are some receipts for replacement parts from when the engine was rebuilt. The bike has been converted to 12 volt electrics which makes a huge difference to the usability of the lighting system ( you can actually see where your headed ).The engine runs very sweetly , clutch is nice and light and the gears selection is very smooth. There is a certificate of confirmation with regard to the bikes particulars from the BSA owners club. There is the original owners instruction manual along with several old tax discs, mot certificates and various receipts.Everything on this little BSA works as it should , brake light, horn, lights (dip and main ) ammeter ,charging system. All things considered this C15 is an all round very good example of a very usable lightweight BSA single.I would like cash on collection please. If you have any questions please feel free to get in touch.
