MINT BSA BANTAM D14/4 (Bushman colours)

BSA Bantam D14/4 (Bushman Colours) 1969 12 Months tax and test I bought this bike last summer and my intention was to use it to ride to the Manx Grand Prix this year. Now its somewhere near to finished, a couple of spins around the estate have highlighted that its just not for me and that I need to stick with my modern trail bikes. I did all the work with good intention, hoping that I would be able to use it, but its become apparent that it doesn’t suit me and that maybe I was expecting too much. Despite this, I have really enjoyed working on it at weekends and evenings. The bike had previously been modified featuring some similar parts to a Bushman, based on a D14/4 (4 speed gearbox) with matching frame and engine numbers. New parts include: Frame, swingarm, rear mudguard, chainguard, battery holder, inner panels and rear rack have all been newly powder coated. *NEW* High level, big bore exhaust. Full *NEW* wiring loom and rectifier.*NEW* Folding kick start *NEW* lead acid (dry cell) battery All *NEW* footrest rubbers (front and rear) Seat has been professionally recovered with a new seat foam. Brakes have been stripped and cleaned in a vain attempt to improve them (The shoes were all new or at least very little used). 12 months MOT and 12 months (free) tax. Log Book is present and it is registered in my name.
