BMW R80rt
FOR SALE My BMW R80 rt complete with all usual BMW fitments Panniers, Clock, Voltmeter, Crash Bars etc. I will try to give an honest appraisal of all the good and not so good points just as i would expect if i was buying a bike. I am not a dealer just a bike enthusiast I have owned it for approx. 3 years, i bought it to tour europe when my Honda unexpectedly required some unforseen work at short notice and wasn't sure if it would be ready It is a totally originally bike in very good condition thats never been messed around with in all its 32 years, just usual maintenance and added touring extras. The paintwork is original so has a few age related wear marks, but overall very good The bike shows 13000 mile on the clock but the last but one owner had this changed some years ago at approx, 17000 mile due to a fault, i have all the past MOT's to show and document this (see pics) Engine and gearbox perform just as a BMW should, controls switches and everything else works just as they should Wheels were powder coated silver by last owner I am only selling this bike because it was a toss up between this and my Honda Deauville and which one unfortunately has to go, the Deauville only won because i have owned it for the past 15 years from new and in just as good condition and couldn't bear to part with.
