1989 KAWASAKI ZXR 750 H1 EARLY MODEL, 6 MONTHS MOT
EARLY ZXR 750 H1 6 MONTHS MOT PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION I BOUGHT THIS BIKE IN MARCH 2013 AS I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED ONE BUT JUST NEVER GOT ROUND TO IT. AFTER DECIDING TO BUY ONE I LOOKED LONG AND HARD TO FIND A DECENT ONE AND ENDED UP BUYING THIS FROM A DEALER FOR £1550 (RECEIPT TO PROVE), DEALER ALSO SUPPLIED ME WITH A HPI CHECK WHICH I ALSO HAVE A COPY OFF AND SHOWED CLEAR. I RODE THIS BIKE LOADS, USED IT AT THE PRACTICAL SPORTS BIKE MAGAZINE CLASSIC DAY WHERE IT DID DRAW ATTENTION. AS WE ALL KNOW THESE BIKES ARE BECOMING A CLASSIC ESPECIALLY THESE EARLY H MODELS. ANYWAY I RODE THE BIKE UP TO MY LOCAL MOT STATION FOR ITS YEARLY INSPECTION WHICH IT PASSED WITH NO ADVISORY'S, I RODE HOME TO PUT PAPERWORK AWAY ETC WHEN SOME FANTASTIC LADY MINI OWNER DECIDED IT LOOKED BETTER LYING ON ITS SIDE THAN THE RIGHT WAY UP. YEP YOU GUESSED IT SHE BACKED INTO IT AND KNOCKED IT OFF ITS SIDE STAND. CLAIM WENT THROUGH INSURANCE AND HER COMPANY PAID ME OUT (EVENTUALLY) A SMALL SUM WHICH WOULD NOT EVEN BUY A NEW PETROL TANK, BUT THEY DID LET ME KEEP THE BIKE.(POSSIBLY CAT D, I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO CHECK). AS YOU CAN SEE THERE IS HARDLY ANY DAMAGE JUST THE ODD COSMETICS (DENT IN TANK,CLUTCH LEVER SLIGHTLY BENT, CRACK IN LOWER BELLY PAN ETC SEE PICS) THE L/H SIDE PEG HANGER WAS SNAPPED BUT I HAVE REPLACED THIS SO I COULD RIDE IT AGAIN. STILL RIDE THE BIKE BUT WITH SO MANY OTHER BIKES/PROJECTS ON THE GO PERHAPS ITS TIME TO SAY GOODBYE AND I COULD REALLY DO WITH THE SPACE, TO BE HONEST I PREFER MY OLD ...
