1990 Kawasaki ZXR 400 project - spares or repairs Must be collected by Sunday 25th January 2015 - if you can't don't bid. I bought this for my other half as a road bike for her but never got round to getting it back on the road. Now moving and can't take it with me so it has to go :( First registered in 1997 so it's an import, year of manufacture is 1990. Great little project for someone to either do a complete rebuilt like I was going to do, or just the necessary bits to get it back on the road. I bought it in this condition after a lorry had reversed into it and took out the nosecone and knocked it over. I was happy enough with its condition and straightness to buy it and have since amassed the bulk of the parts required to get it back together save for some gaskets, fasteners and service items. Or you could break it for parts. Apparently the last MOT expired in 2006. Comes with clocks, headlights, 2 1/2 top fairings (should be able to make at least one good one with some repairs), headlight bracket, hoover tubes, mirrors, indicators, right clipon, lockset, front brake master cylinders, the bodywork as you see in the photos with the tail filler piece, and a spare set of carbs. Not running but compression feels good. Drivetrain needs lubricating and there is a leak off one of the crankcase covers (replacement included).
