Suzuki RF900, Spares or Repair
Spares or repair, to be collected from Wokingham (RG41). Re-listed due to bereavement on part of buyer. No MoT or Tax (SORN’ed since October 2003) this bike has been stored in the back of the garage, as a “rainy day” project that has never been started. Gets up to speed very very quickly, but as the engine has a little more vibration (read character, it’s not intrusive at all) you actually have a much better feeling for what it’s doing – the ZZR was just deceptive as it was so smooth, and threw too much weight onto my wrists. For me, this bike was comfy for 3-6 hour rides with ease, and it’s done quite a few loaded up trips away.Mileage is 24,060: I have MoT’s dating back to 1999 when it was on 15,041 (reasonable for a 4-year-old bike) and up to July 2001 when it was on 19,747.Condition:The wheels turn over fine, it’s a light and easy bike to wheel around.Generally in good condition for the age: Seat is intact and still supple, suspension all moves how it sh...
