1999 KTM 300 EXC ORANGE NEW ENGINE FRESH REBUILD GOLD SERIES PIPE
KTM 300 EXC 1999 I bought the bike earlier this year and had a good summer on it. In October the piston nipped up so I did a complete rebuild. Sent the Bore off to Langcourt who are specialists at Bore repairs and Nikasil linings. They completed the work and supplied a new Vertex piston with a total cost of £329.40 for parts. I then ordered a load of new bits from Gear4 KTM....gaskets, new water pump ect ect. Total engine time of around 8-10 hours since rebuild. I have all the receipts for recent work and parts brought. I have a receipt from October 2009 from the previous owner who had a full gearbox rebuild on the bike. Fresh gearbox oil put in before the last time I went out on it. Always run on 40.1 mix. Fork seals are all good as are swing arm bearings and bushings. MOT till October 2015. Original Legal Number plate included plus spare mini plate. Newish rear Michelin tyre. Runs absolutely crisp with lots of compression, actually quite hard to start if you go half hearted on the kick! The 300 motor is the best I have ever ridden off road, heaps of torque low down and when the powerband comes in it literally takes off. Read any reviews about these bikes and you will see that they are the best. If you look after them properly and warm them up correctly they will go on forever. Genuine sale, I used to ride with a friend but now he doesn't have a bike and to be honest riding by myself is a little boring.
