My, once prized, Kawasaki Ninja 1200 for sale. She was a pampered weekend toy that I've owned for several years. However, since baby came long she's just been stuck in her cover waiting for me to accept that it's time for her to go. Last mot expired in April 2013 when the mileage was 26k, since the battery's dead I can't give you an up to date reading but safe to say it's still under 30k For those of you who don't know, these were Kawasaki's flagship bike at the time. Somewhere in the region of 170bhp giving you power from anywhere, anytime. Once you're rolling over 30mph you can just stick it in 6th and let the torque do all the work, even two up. Or if you're feeling brave, work the gears twist your wrist and watch the world go backwards! There's a bit of work to do before she'll be back in top form. My local garage has taken a look at it and told me that you'd need to get: front brake pads, two new tyres, new battery which has had it after being left for so long and a good service, which was all kept up to date until I stopped riding. A bit of corrosion has crept up on certain parts of the bike, worst are the bolts below the rear seat cowl (pictured). But these are easily replaceable. I keep her in a zip-up bike cover between a wall and the back of my car, sadly in the storms last winter she got blown into the boot of my car, and while she didn't fall over it was enough to crack the front fairing and the windscreen (both pictured) it also broke the stem for the wing mirror...
