2003 PIAGGIO X9 250 SL (HONDA ENGINE)
Hello, and welcome to my listing for a Piaggio X9 250 SL Scooter. As you can see from the pictures, the scooter is in absolutely fantastic condition, having been owned by three mature gentleman (including myself) since new. I purchased the bike from a man who has owned this scooter for over six years and he looked after it extremely well, changing the engine oil every 3000 miles without fail, and gear oil every 6000 miles. The all important drive belt was replaced at 18,000 miles and this included a new set of rollers so that wont need to be changed again for the foreseeable. The bike starts and runs perfectly, handles superbly, brakes super sharp and pulls up in a straight line. It has relatively new Pirelli tyres, as recommended. The exhaust system has also recently been replaced a Giannelli silencer. The bike has just had a oil change just before listing it on here. The bike has been garaged since new, therefore the bodywork and all the plastics are in brilliant condition, not faded or damaged. Additions to the standard stock bike include a set of Oxford Hot Grips (brilliant for this time of year!) and a Givi rack and Givi Top Box (colour-matched, but needs repainting) not fitted, but included in sale. There is also a massive under seat storage compartment which two crash helmets, gloves, etc, fit easily. Charger point for phone, and courtesy light.
