Gilera Fuoco 2009 trike conversion - low mileage but damaged so repair or spares
Late 2009 Gilera Fuoco (59 reg) with very low mileage (8,064) but damage to the front suspension and some front panels - there is also a scrape to the edge of the rear wheel rim but this seems serviceable. It has been converted to the DVLA 'tricycle' category (presumably when new) through the addition of wheel spacers and conversion of the parking brake to a positive ratchet type. It is registered as a tricycle in the V5, so could (I believe) be ridden with a car licence. It starts and runs very well and the tilt lock works properly. I have kept it on a trickle charger, so the battery is good. It can still be driven (just) but the steering is very heavy, to say the least! I'm not sure which parts are bent but the 'fork legs' (which are short double down-tubes on each side and integral with the steering stems) seem to be the weakest components. The 'bull-bar' frame, radiator and lights are OK but the plastic front panel has a section missing at the top left side (picture 9) as does the plastic 'screen' and there is a corresponding crack in the dash surround although that is easily repairable. The indicator switch is missing, as are the left-side hand-guard and indicator - there may be some missing fasteners and other small parts, as the front plastics were already removed when I bought it. I bought it in May 2013 as is from a dealer,...
