Louvre Heist: thieves snatch €88 million of Crown Jewels in daylight

Eight pieces of the French Crown Jewels, worth €88 million, were stolen in a daylight raid on the Louvre’s Galerie d’Apollon. A manhunt called Opération Couronne is under way.
