BSA M33 1953 500cc OHV

Here for sale is my 1953 BSA M33 500cc OHV Single. I bought this bike with full intentions of restoration but with other restorations on the go the bike has to take a back seat. The bike didn't run when purchased but with a small amount of tinkering the bike fired in to life. Knowing the bike hadn't been run for many years we only ran the engine for a few minutes to make sure we didn't cause any damage not knowing the condition of the internals. I do have some video evidence of the bike running but this footage would have to be shown in person due to been on my mobile. The motorbike if put back together could be made road worthy in no time at all of which I am sure. Here is a small description of what I was given when I bought the bike: A lovely BSA M33 500cc OHV classic ideal restoration project or could easily be put back on the road, and ridden.The previous owner has fitted new wheel rims, and tyres, seat, and Mikuni carb. There are receipts totalling over £800.00 for various work done to the engine, and gearbox. All the paper work for the motorcycle is shown in the photos and will be coming with the bike. Everything to rebuild the motorcycle and to put it on the road are all included in the sale. When the bike was stripped it was all bagged and labelled so that it could all be refitted correctly. The petrol tank was sandblasted and found to have a dint in the top which is not surprising for a 61 year old motorcycle. I had quotes that this could be filled at a reasonable e...
