1959 Royal Enfield Crusader Sport

1959 Royal Enfield Crusader SportPrevious (recent) Restoration. In good show conditionIncluding lots of paperwork, old manuals etc.(Please note this is the 4 speed model, NOT the fabled, later 5 speed model) This bike has been nicely restored, by a previous owner, from the wheels up, with many receipts & associated paperwork to go with it. There have been many expensive new parts used, too many to list, but for instance the wheels have been professionally rebuilt by Hagon (with receipt) & many of the fixings have been replaced with stainless steel versions. There is a plethora of receipts from Hitchcock's included in the paperwork file. The engine has also been rebuilt, with a re-bore & new piston & rings. Since I have had the bike I have done some work to the carburettor, the ignition system, clutch adjustment & the cylinder head joint. This was all very minor, "finishing-off" touches to make the bike ridable & oil tight. I like things to be this way & it makes for a more relaxed, worry-free, riding experience. Also included with the bike are authentication certificates from The Royal Enfield Owners Club & both the original full workshop manual & the smaller instruction booklet, as well as a few shots of the bike before & during restoration. Since this restoration work was undertaken, it appears the bike has hardly been ridden & really deserves to go to a home where it will get used.I bought it as a second bike, to go with my earlier, rigid-framed, classic British bike.
