Triumph Speed Twin Speedtwin 500c 1961 5TA Bath-back classic
My father bought this bike in 1980. He rode it for a few months then it was stripped down to be restored, but this didn't happen. It sat in boxes in the attic until last year when I started restoring and reassembling it. It has been lovingly and carefully stripped, painted and polished to the best of my ability. There is still a little room for improvement. I have ridden it round the yard, but it hasn't been on the road or taxed since 1980. I don't ride, hence the sale. A lot of new parts have been fitted including seat, exhausts, silencers, exhaust clamps, coil, HT leads, plugs, plug caps, distributor cap, distributor sheath, rotor arm, condenser, battery, speedo cable, horn, dipswitch, rear lamp unit, kickstart.
