BSA A65 Thunderbolt 1964
BSA A65 1964, Frame number A50 75XX and the engine is a later one fitted, engine number DD074XX A65T. Therefore the engine is from a 1971 Thunderbolt. The engine primary case has been removed and the timing side cover has been removed and only loosely put back in place with a couple of screws, (by others) all internal components appear to be present apart from the clutch push rod. Bike appears near complete apart from one side panel, horn and speedo. The engine turns over with compression.Side panel that is present is metal type.The exhaust pipes and silencers appear in sound condition but may need a re-chrome depending on what the buyer would like to do with the bike. Petrol tank appears in good sound condition and looks pretty clean inside. Front and rear mudguards are in solid shape without rust. Electric's appear to have been converted to 12 Volt but will need some tidying up. There is no battery on the bike and electrics have not been tested. Wheel rims have been painted silver. Seat appears in good order. Over all the bike is in sound condition, in need of recommission to be used as is or could be stripped for total refurbishment, buyers choose. The bike is sold as a project and will make a very desirable bike when finished. The bike has southern Ireland registration papers with it so should be easy to re-register.
