BSA Bantam 1967 D10 Part finished restoration project complete with V5 Documentation. Long story this but please bear with me. I've owned this from second hand since I was a young lad and I'm now mid 50's, it was the 1st bike I had on the road back in the days of upto 250cc on a provisional licence. I rode it for a year or so before upgrading and it was put into storage in my Mum's garden shed where it stayed until the mid 90's. After getting married and buying a house I decided to make a start on the restoration.The frame was powder coated. The engine was completely rebuilt, rebored, new oversize piston & rings, new bearings and seals and the crank re-shimmed. I also seem to remember putting in new clutch plates and new primary drive sprockets and chain. I then made a start on the cycle parts, the rear shockers were stripped, blasted, the springs and collets re-plated and new iso-elastic bushes fitted. The wheels were stripped and the hubs blasted and sprayed, one hub had new bearings fitted (the other still needs replacing). Many parts were stripped blasted and re-sprayed and many items replaced with new including a complete wiring loom which is still to be fitted. (some invoices have been retained, see list later). As I started rebuilding the frame up I began replacing the fasteners with stainless items.
