Seller's Note

1986 Yamaha FZX750 Baby V Max Classic Motorcycle

This is my pride and joy that I have now decided to sell along with some other toys to make space in my garage. This is a very reluctant sale as I have now accepted that I am never going to ride her again at the age of 62 years. She is simply too powerful. I purchased the bike from Rex Judd in London in 2003. The bike itself was only first registered in the UK in the year 2000 as it was imported from overseas. I suspect the bike itself was imported from Japan itself as it still has the various Japanese decals on her. As she was imported and only first registered in 2000 she still need to be taxed once she has been Mot'd. You will have to look at the DVLA site to find out what the current rates of tax are as I haven't taxed her since late 2011 when the last tax ran out. She is as a result currently on SORN with the DVLA. She is a heavy bike and is as far as I am aware the full power model as there are no restrictors in her filter box as far as I am aware. She has been maintained by me entirely in the time I have owned her with frequent oil changes and regular maintenance but I have probably spent more time polishing her and adding or replacing various components over the years than actually riding her in all that time. I did however use her for travelling into work for a short period in 2004 or 2005 while my own car was off the road. That was the only period of time she ever felt rain as I was generally only ever a fair weather rider. I damaged a nerve in my back some time ago...
