Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 I am selling my very much loved 1991 Yamaha FJ1200 3XW that I have owned for the last 19 years. It has been my fair weather toy and has always been very well looked after, rarely used in the wet and always kept garaged. Now that I’m in my 60s I no longer have pillion riders to take out and I don’t go touring. Last year I bought a small lightweight bike for use near to home. I took the FJ out for a few trips but I kept it in the garage under its cover for most of the time until I made my mind up what to do, and I have now decided to sell it as I really cannot justify keeping it taxed and insured. Also it needs to be used by someone who will appreciate it! (I did toy with the idea of mounting it in the living room but my wife ‘dissuaded’ me! LOL) Therefore here is as much detail as I can give about it: I bought it in 1995 from a chap who was in a similar position to my situation now. I have all of the original paperwork, plus handbook, service records, MOTs, tax disks etc. etc. From here it might be easier to list the relevant points: Genuine 26159 miles from new. Sprayed in a fabulous (Ducati?) red by Dream Machine when just a few months old, purely for good looks and not to cover any damage. Lovely condition, always a head turner.
