KTM 950 Adventure, Nov 2005 (55-plate), orange, VGC
My big, orange, grunty, head-turning Austrian mistress, who's in surprisingly good nick for her age, and who I've owned for three years, has to go. I adore her but she's not getting the attention she deserves after we ran away together from Surrey to Cheshire six months ago. The exciting daily commute is a thing of the past as I now work from home. Looking at her in the garage and knowing I can't ride her like I used to is, well, depressing. Here are her vital statistics – the good bits and the not so good. KTM 950 Adventure, first reg 1 Nov 2005. I am the second owner, the first having covered 28,000 miles when I 'stole' her off him in April 2012. She scrubs up well, but has a few signs of ageing, including bubbles in the graphics on the right-hand side (see pic) and one or two tiny imperfections here and there. The mileage is now 41,836. She's got a full CV of pampering, the last being done at Macclesfield Motorcycles in November and she's covered a few hundred miles since. She's MOTd until 5 Nov 2015 and taxed until 1 May 2015. The Dunlop tyres are fairly new and are more road-biased; it's never been off-road because she knows I'm not good enough and that she'd just end up getting hurt. Included in the sale are engine bars and the original end cans (although I can't vouch for their internal condition or competence as they've remained in the box throughout).
