Moto Guzzi Breva 1100
Really good bike. Only bought last July, intending to do Winter Morocco tour but other commitments prevented that. My main hobby is kayak fishing and as weather window will clash I can't see me getting the use it deserves. I've only done about 1000 mils on it since purchase. So its got to go. I bought it off a bloke in Wales who had a mild heart attack the day he bought it so it sat in his garage for sixteen months prior to my purchase. I immediately did oil and filter change and did tappets last autumn. Screw and lock nut- easy and they were't really out. I also changed outer plugs, but not inner plugs as need special or modded tool because of recessed access. New inner plugs included in sale. If I was keeping I'd also do CARC and engine oil, both of which are easy. I don't know much about bike history, but I can see it has starter wire mod and trickle charger fitted. The bike pulls really cleanly from no revs. There is none of the row rev stutter or abruptness reported on some bikes in early reviews, so it may have been remapped or later mapped. New, lighter can may have helped. Note low rev pick-up only used on light throttle as these later engines with lightened crank, etc, perform best between 5-7k for spirited riding. Replacement can makes good sound but not noisy. Condition- Typical for age and low mileage. No panel damage, few light scratches.
