2008 KTM 530 exc-r, 12 months mot
For sale, my 2008 KTM 530 exc-r.. 12 months mot, 1180 miles, I've owned the bike now for 6 months to do some green laning on, and I have to say it's been great fun over the winter months but now summer is on its way I want something to just plod around on and soak up the miles in a open faced helmet, so it's time for the dirt and the 530 to go.. I'll start by listing the good points and then be as honest as I can with the bad.. Right, Good points are..It's always had oil (engine/gear ) and air filters changed every 2 hours of ride, ( and have all the old bottles and filters to prove this, not just saying it like most do, see last photo ) it's also been washed and lubed after every ride..It's got new sprockets, wheel bearings and front/rear brake pads, has brand new tyres front and rear, has Akroprovic end can ( sounds mint ) also have standard can included, it's got ktm's radiator fan fitted as extra along with all the usual ktm goodies, WP suspension, excel rims, brembo brakes and wavey discs. Also has fork air bleeders, extra grip seat and sump guard.. Right, The bad bits.. the paint is peeling off the engine casing (as they all do ) it has no indicators on it ( spoils the look in my eyes ) fork seals are weeping slightly and the speedo/dash has stopped working, it has got a slight engine rattle at cold but this goes when engine is warm and oil is circulating ( I'm thinking cam chain tensioner needs changing ) plus it is hard to start from cold, it'll start first time every...
