Bullet 500 Electra Royal Enfield 'Woodsman' 2008

In very good condition for a bike used on the road regularly - This is not a cosseted Sunday afternoon bimble bike. (I don't do polished engine cases - thats for the show and shine brigade etc). At some point, its been fitted with an uprated Amal carb; possibly even by Watsonian, and a high level free breathing pipe (which was all the fashion back then!). This bike is one of the last Pre-Unit construction machines with a Burnham 5 speed gearbox, the engine is the unleaded lean burn version with electronic ignition. Whilst it has not been off road during my ownership, it could, with the fitment of a pair of knobblies! TBH I doubt its been off road at any time in its life - bit like most Chelsea Tractors :) I bought it as a retro hip method of spinning across town to college, as a mature student just over a year ago and its never let me down! Its great around town and on the open road in the country too - the motorway is not its natural preserve but it will keep up with modern traffic as long as you don't expect it to cruise at 80 mph for long periods of time, anyway thats not what this bike is all about it, its for taking your time and enjoying the ride! The bike was originally imported by Watsonian Squire in 2008 and converted at the factory in to the rare and desirable 'Woodsman' edition however the bike retains 99% of the original factory fittings, so you don't have to worry about parts in the long term.
