Derbi Senda 125 Baja - Learner Legal - 2009 - 9281 miles
Derbi Senda Baja 125 2009. Bought in October to renovate and get rerady for my daughters 17th birthday. I spent a lot of time and effort in bringing it almost up to my very high standards but I didnt go the final mile as it was probably going to get dropped during the learning process (it actually never was). It has 9281 miles on the clock and I have no reason to doubt this. My daughter turned 17 passed her CBT with flying colours (it's in the blood) and was then almost killed on her return from the test ride by a complete b*stard in a Jaguar who missed he by less than 1 inch whilst cutting her up on a roundabout. It scared her so much that she shortly afterwards lost confidence and gave up. The bike is in good condition with good chain and sprtockets and tyres. It passed its MOT in January 2015. It has an MSR aftermarket road legal stainless steel silencer which gives a healthy exhaust note. The engine is a pushrod 125 Honda as used in the CG125 and it produces 10.5 bhp. It will reach 65 to 70 but can by no means be described as fast which, in my mind, is perfect for learning (I cut my teeth on a 175 Bantam in the seventies and I like to think that starting small and slow is part of the reason I'm still here after 36 years and over a million miles on two wheels). It was used last February by a mate of mine to attend the Dragon Rally in Wales and it took the 200 mile journey, packed with camping gear, in its stride. It sounded great in the Mersey tunnel but Ive put the decibe...
