1951 BSA D1 BANTAM 125CC, running, matching numbers & original reg with V5C etc
1951 BSA D1 Bantam 125cc all matching original numbers Here is a very original BSA D1 Bantam, up & running ready to ride / improve/ show! This little D1 comes with its original buff log book, original registration, original engine & frame . There are loads of old MOTs & old tax discs . Date of registration is 31st December 1951. The bike was despatched from the factory on December 4th 1951 and sent to dealers Difazio in Frome, Somerset who I believe are still going! Frame number is YD1 570294, Engine YD1 68552 these are the originals according to the factory records (and the original buff log book). Cosmetically the bike is really quite good. I am assuming it has been restored at some point because it is too good for age but does have some patina and doesn’t look freshly restored by any stretch of the imagination!
