1994 BMW R1100RS SILVER
BMW R1100RS mot 27 July. I've owned it for two years. Selling as I have too many bikes and I bought this to go on a tour but looks like it's not happening. Taller screenUpgraded seatClear lensesHeated gripsRecent gel battery.AbsPanniers (city cases) Tyre on rear about a thousand miles left of use, front has only done about 500 miles.Drives well, always starts first time. Gearbox and engine oil changed by me ( they were clean anyway). No oil leaks.Have no service history with it but it seems to have been well maintained. The only problem is the clutch friction plate is just starting to deteriorate. Bike is perfectly rideable. You only notice the clutch slipping if the bike is pushed hard through the gears. I was going to change it but as I am not using it now I haven't the motivation. Good, solid, well made, dependable bike. BMW put a lot of money and time into these bikes and you can see and feel it. cash on collection
