Cagiva Elefant 750 Lucky Explorer 1996
Welcome to my auction for my trusty 750 Elefant Bifaro, in the sought after Lucky Explorer colours. I've had this bike for about 2 years, and genuinely will be sad to see it go. It took me to World Ducati Week in Italy last summer in comfort, in fact we rode back the 940 miles in one go! My reason for sale is I've ordered a new Ducati Scrambler. So about the bike, mileage shows a bit over 63,000, but no idea if this is genuine. These only came with a km/h speedo from new, and although this has a mph converter fitted, I have no idea at what mileage this went on. Bodywork is in pretty good condition, but it is nearly 19 years old and has marks to prove it has seen some great journeys in its life. Tyres are fair, but didn't seem to wear in the 2,000 miles to Italy and back. The chain and sprocket set are new, as these were pretty knackered from the last trip. It has an aluminium top box, and fibreglass panniers, the latter on Hepco and Becker pannier rails. It also has the Hepco and Becker crash bars fitted. These alone are a few hundred quid! It has a Garmin gps system on a Touratec mount, but this really is more suitable off the beaten track than finding your way around a foreign town. I have a TomTom rider power lead hard wired in, and a Ram mount on the screen, both of which I can leave, the TomTom satnav is NOT included!
